BitComet: The 'glass transparency' feature cuts off the items in display as well instead of the borders. (e.g. the menu bar) Newsgroup: The New thread stuff - it's cut off as well, only half of the information is shown to me - seems to be display issues. Display Settings: Just installed Vista, and I can't get out of the display settings even I clicked OK/apply/close button.
My computer is about 17", 1600x1200 pixels, 32-bit color.

When the computer is busy, the screen flickers all the time. (XP has less of this issue) Is there an alternative for simplicity? I agree that Vista is proud of its display, but simple tasks requiring swift timing such as alt tab, is slowed down by the glamorous display.
Umm anyone know where's the add/remove programs? I found Installed Programs from the help menu though ^-^

Settings - control panel - programs -" right click, open" - installed programs (on left) - -" right click, open" highlight a program and it can removed from the menu bar HTH
